Our Faculty

Nearly 20 faculty members serve the department full time, actively mentoring our graduate students and continually reviewing our curriculum to ensure students are well prepared for their professional careers.

Our faculty are nationally recognized for their work in the areas of clinical trials, pharmacology, toxicology and genomic biostatistics. Several faculty members hold joint appointments in other departments.

Our Research

Our faculty researchers belong to multidisciplinary teams in federally funded projects across VCU. Partners include:

  • Massey Cancer Center
  • Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research
  • VCU schools of Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing and the College of Health Professions
