Graduate students Keighly Bradbrook, Erin Donahue, Alicia Johns and Kate Stromberg are representing our graduate program at the 25th Annual Biopharmaceutical Applied Statistics Symposium this week in Savannah, Georgia.
The Biopharmaceutical Applied Statistics Symposium (BASS) was founded in 1993 by Karl E. Peace, PhD, VCU Biostatistics Alumnus, Fellow of the American Statistical Association, and keynote speaker for the event. It was designed to provide a forum for pharmaceutical and medical researchers and regulators to share timely information concerning the application of biostatistics in pharmaceutical environments, while simultaneously generating funding to support graduate studies in biostatistics. BASS revenues have enabled several VCU Biostatistics students to complete their degrees.
The symposium was chaired by Tony Segreti, also a VCU Biostatistics alumnus.
